In 2005 OJSC “Giprotruboprovod” (further – Institute) has passed conformance certification to the requirements of IS ISO 14001:2004 in DQS system and has received a certificate of conformance to EMS. In 2008 Institute passed successfully the recertification audit.

Fulfillment of the legislation requirements in the field of environmental safety and rational nature management and at the developing projects for pipeline transport usage of the best from the available environmental safety technologies are fundamental principles for Institute activity.

Processes and operations of the Institute which are significant for the environment are being planned, managed, estimated and constantly improved. Institute improves constantly its ecological activity and reduces environmental impact by:

• fulfilling of established aims and tasks of EMS;
•  raising concernment of ecological aspects in design work;
•  realizing of measures on improvement as a result of external and internal audits.
