History

By the end of August 2001 OJSC “Uralsibnefteprovod” design and estimates bureau (DEB) by own strength had worked out already the design estimates for reconstruction of the production areas of the former plant “Etalon” wh ere later the Affiliate was located, and by the end of September the Chief Project Engineers and the Heads of the production departments have been accepted on the competitive basis: Atnabaev D.Z., Il’gulov F.M., Kabirov R.R., Kulagin V.P., Loginov A.F., Markova L.P., Moiseeva E.G., Mazitov N.K., Morozova N.N., Novikov A.V., Novichkova I.N., Romashko S.B., Semin P.A., Suslov A.C., Tel’nov S.V., Khalikova Z.G. and Yumashev E.R.

They began to work actively to form the Affiliate staff and production plans for the years 2001 and 2002. By October 15thalready after the completion of repair works the collective began to design the first object. On 01/01/2002 the amount of the Affiliate was 94 persons. For the first year of its existence the Affiliate developed the design estimate documentation to the sum of 135,0 million rubles, including 59,2 million rubles by subcontracted organizations and 76,5 million rubles by the own strength.

Because of constantly increasing volumes for designing the objects of OJSC “AK “Transneft” the Affiliate staff size was increased. On 01/10/2009 the staff number was 279 persons.

Now the main Clients of the Affiliate are “Ural-Sibirskiy MN”, OJSC “Severo-Zapadny MN”, OJSC “Verkhnevolzhsknefteprovod”, OJSC “Transsibnefteprovod”, OJSC “MN “Druzhba”, OJSC “Baltnefteprovod” and LLC “PCC ESPO” (PCC - Project Control Center).

Since 2001 Ufa Affiliate developed more than 700 projects, fr om small to big ones, including target and investment projects for construction of OJSC “AK “Transneft” objects – expansion of BPS-50, BPS-60 and replacement of oil pipelines with jar washers. Reconstruction of the acting main oil pipelines Ust-Balyk – Kurgan – Ufa – Al’metievsk, Nizhnevartovsk – Kurgan – Kuibyshev, Tuimazy – Omsk – Novosibirsk-1, 2, Kaltasy – Yazykovo – Calavat and others was made on the projects of the Affiliate, and also the tank farms of many PS and LPDS were modernized, computer-aided systems of tracking power supply were installed at the pumping stations of “Ural-Sibirskiy MN”, Acceptance-delivery point for oil of OJSC “Uralsibnefteprovod” was constructed for assessment of qualitative and quantitative indexes of oil, stocked to the refineries in Ufa, reequipment of the sections of the linear part was carried out at Surgut-Polotsk and Perm-Debesy oil pipelines. In 2001-2002 the Affiliate took part in the development of the project of looping of Yaroslavl’ – Kirishi oil pipeline, performed engineering survey on reconstruction of the objects of Surgut – Polotsk, of Al’metievsk-Gor’ky-3 and Perm - Al’metievsk oil pipelines. In 2004 the Affiliate took part in the design of the loopings for Surgut– Polotsk main pipeline.

The great work of the last years was the development of the design documentation for East Siberia – Pacific Ocean pipeline system (ESPO). Since 2005 the design estimates documentation was issued totally for 700 km of linear part, two PS (#4 and #8) were fully designed, and also the tank farm at “Skovorodino” PS was designed, as well. According to the Program of BPS-2 the Affiliate performed the projects for PS # 3 in Smolensk district and about 70 km of linear part.

Specialists of the Affiliate “Ufagiprotruboprovod” took an active part in the developments of the head Institute in the field of normative regulation basis of designing. They made their great contribution into the preparation of the regulative document “Standards of design of steel vertical tanks for oil storage with volume 5000-50000 m3”, standard designs for all the types and sizes of vertical steel tanks used in the system of “Transneft”. These works were continued during 2005-2008 and as a result they allowed to raise considerably the quality of designing the tanks in the system of “Transneft”.

Nowadays typical designs and the technical solutions used in them are being applied already not only at the construction of new tanks but for the repair and reconstruction of the existing ones, as well.

Ufa Affiliate of OJSC “Giprotruboprovod” consists of 24 subdivisions, and 13 departments practise designing. These are: Chief Project Engineers Bureau, Departments for Engineering Survey, for Construction Organization Design, Electrical Department, Estimates Department, Department for Environmental Protection Development and Industrial Safety, Sanitary Engineering Department, Automation Department, Pipeline Department, Process Department, Civil Engineering Department, Department for Tank Farm Design and Standards Control & Appraisal Department.

Since autumn 2001 Yumashev E.R. was the Chief Engineer of the Affiliate in Ufa, since November 2005 Moiseev V.I., who is Honoured oil industry worker and Honoured worker of Mintopenergo of RF, is at the post of the Chief Engineer managing the design works of the Affiliate.

Since the moment of Affiliate formation there is a constant work on keeping the technical equipping for all the working places of engineers – designers at the most modern level. For this purpose the round sums are assigned out of budget annually for the technical equipping of all the computer-aided working places of designers, purchase of computers, program software for design, technical calculations support, information and regulation providence of project works and improvement of local network, as well. Special attention is paid to the organization of team-work in the united information environment, providence of united engineering process standards and increase of labour productivity.

Project documentation and technical calculations are made only on the basis of the certified software support. In OJSC “Giprotruboprovod” there are the works on the creation of the uniform system of electronic documents circulation, organization of uniform protected information space, step to the fulfillment of works within the limits of standards of three-dimensional object-parametric modeling, integrated with the system of project data management (PDM). Processing cycle of engineering survey is fully automated on the base of software Trimble, Credo-Dialogue and Autodesk. Collective work was introduced within the lim its of the working groups and between the departments which are busy with the design of PS and linear part on the trunk oil pipelines in the environment of the software Autodesk AutoCAD/Land Desktop/ Civil 3D version 2005 and above.

Compound design studies are fulfilled by the usage of license certified calculating software of the last versions SCAD Office, Base, Fondation, Start, Predklapan, Hydrosystem, ARS PS, CPIPE and others.

Young specialists of the Affiliate – are mainly graduates of Ufa Institutes of higher education. Great attention is paid to the formation of valuable modern specialists from them – designers for the objects of trunk oil pipelines.

In the Affiliate there was created the Young Specialists Board. Young specialists of the Affiliate take part in the Annual Scientific and Technical Conferences conducted by OJSC “Giprotruboprovod”. For example, in 2008 nine young specialists took part in the work of the conference. Their developments and reports deserved a high mark of the competitive commission.

Affiliate “Ufagiprotruboprovod” is developing stably and dynamic, it successfully combines the best traditions of OJSC “Giprotruboprovod” in its activity together with innovation in the organization, logistical support and methodic support of the design processes.

State-of-the-art technical base and high intellectual potential allow the Affiliate “Ufagiprotruboprovod” to solve the most difficult tasks in the field of design and survey operations for the objects of trunk oil pipelines.
